(Other programs I have used in the past for my gallery content include: Adobe Photoshop 6, Adobe Flash Professional CS3, Adobe Illustrator CS2, Adobe Illustrator CS5.5, IrfanView 4.00, Jasc Animation Shop 3.11, Jasc Paint Shop Pro 6, Jasc Paint Shop Pro 7.04, NCH Wavepad, Windows Movie Maker.)
My prior experience to doing this is.. well none existent. That's both the tutorial, and putting glows on Lightsabers whether it be in Adobe Photoshop or Jasc Paint Shop Pro. I'm using Paint Shop Pro version 7.04.
Jasc Paint Shop Pro 7.04
Each of the 34 BMP images of the test set was converted into TIF,PNG, JPEG at compression factors 5, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, and 20, JPEG2000lossless, and JPEG2000 at compression factors 5, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, and 20.Thus, a total of 612 image files were obtained. All conversions wereperformed with the program Jasc Paint Shop Pro version 7.04 (Corel, Ottawa,Canada), using the "batch conversion" function. The JPEG2000conversion, not natively available in the program, was achieved using theLEAD JPEG2000 Photoshop plugin (LEAD Technologies, Inc., Charlotte, NC),compatible with Paint Shop Pro (the plugin is available atwww.leadtools.com). The program was run on a computer equipped with a Pentium4 processor at 1.7 GHz, 256 MB of RAM, 20 GB of free hard disk space, operating system Windows 98 Second Edition (version 4.10.2222 A) (Microsoft,Redmond, WA). 2ff7e9595c
